Start the Microsoft Entourage software... you do not need to be on-line to enter the settings.

In this example, let's enter the settings for Wayne Bibbens, whose User ID is: wbibbens

Pull down the Tools Menu and select Accounts.

Then select & click "new."

In "Your Name"...
Enter your Real Name... Wayne Bibbens

Click the right arrow icon to continue.

In Internet E-mail Address, select "I already have an e-mail address I'd like to use."

Now enter in your full email address... wbibbens@syracuse.net

For "My incoming mail sever is a(n)," select POP

In "Incoming mail (POP, IMAP) server" section...
Enter the server name... mail.syracuse.net

In "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" section...
Enter the SMTP server... mail.syracuse.net

Account ID: wbibbens@syracuse.net
Password: Your Password

Congratulations
Almost done. All you have to do is give this email account a name. Here Wayne Bibbens called his "Syracuse.Net." You can name it whatever you want though.

When done, click "Finish."
